Lake Louise Lakeshore Walk & Canoe Rental

Access the 2 km flat lakeshore trail from the parking area. Path circles the turquoise lake with views of Victoria Glacier and the Chateau. Suitable for all fitness levels with benches along the way.

Rent canoes from the boathouse dock for paddling on the calm waters. Available mid June to early October depending on weather. Life jackets and paddles included with hourly rentals.

Reach the Rockpile viewpoint via short switchback trail from the lake parking. Offers panorama of Ten Peaks and turquoise waters. Moderate incline with some steps for accessibility.

Explore additional lakeshore paths independently. Vehicle access limited; shuttle or tour transport required in peak season. Area closes early in fall due to snow.

Banff Gondola to Sulphur Mountain Summit

Arrive at base terminal for 8 minute gondola ride up 698 m to summit at 2281 m. Access indoor decks and outdoor terraces for views. Facilities include restaurant and gift shop.

Follow 1 km boardwalk to Sanson Peak station. Overlook Bow Valley and surrounding ranges including distant Lake Louise area. Path is paved with interpretive signs.
