Emerald Lake Lakeshore Loop & Canoe Rental

Follow the 5.2 km easy loop trail around Emerald Lake with forested sections and open views of President Range. Flat terrain with boardwalks over wetlands, takes 1-2 hours.

Rent canoes from the lakeside lodge for paddling the vibrant green waters. Open late May to early October, subject to conditions. Paddles and life vests supplied.

Takakkaw Falls Viewpoint & Trails

View Canada's second tallest waterfall at 373 m from the base platform after short walk from parking. Mist from the falls creates rainbows on sunny days.

Extend with trails to viewpoints or Yoho Valley. Road access mid-June to mid-October due to avalanche risk. Switchbacks on drive in.
